Hardware vendors and end-users are partnering with ServersCheck to get hardware certified ensuring seamless operation with the ServersCheck Monitoring Software.
Certified hardware is integrated with the ServersCheck Monitoring Software. ServersCheck's support staff are trained to provide technical assistance for using the hardware in combination with the ServersCheck Monitoring Software.
1. Certified for Monitoring
This type of hardware is listed as native check by ServersCheck and listed under the check type Hardware Checks. ServersCheck provides active support for those checks provided the manufacturer appears on the list below. Non certified hardware will most probably work with the ServersCheck Monitoring Software especially when using standard protocols like SNMP. However no support is provided for non-certified hardware by ServersCheck. We encourage you to check with your hardware vendor to seek certification.
CISCOWORKS, DELL OPENMANAGE, MAXDATA are non-certified hardware checks but are known to work with the software.
2. Certified for Alerting
This type of hardware is being tested and sometimes integrated in the product for generating alerts. ServersCheck provides end-user support for that type of hardware when used in combination with our software. Non certified alerting hardware might work as well but it is not unsupported. We encourage you to check with your hardware vendor to seek certification.
