Humidity & Temperature Monitoring Sensor



 
Not only temperature affects systems performance but also humidity can cause rapid deterioration of systems. Monitoring humidity in a data center is as important as monitoring temperature!

ServersCheck offers a low cost ethernet based sensor for monitoring not only humidity but also temperature 24x7. This sensor measures the relative humidity (0 and 100 % RH) and temperature (-40 C and +60 C, -40 F to +140 F) with improved resolution. This sensor is designed to monitor conditions in server rooms and other sensitive area's.

ServersCheck's sensors are IP based. Each sensor gets its own IP address. The Monitoring Software or Monitoring Appliance communicates via TCP with the sensor. As long as you have direct TCP/IP connectivity between monitoring station and the sensor, the physical location of the sensor does not matter.

The ServersCheck Monitoring Software is required to read, graph and alert on the values from the sensor. When the temperature or humidity exceeds a predefined value then the ServersCheck Monitoring Software can alert you by using different methodes like email and SMS alerts (requires a GSM modem).
